About Speakers:

Prof. Paris de l'Etraz is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at IE Business School, where he has taught since 2009, and Managing Director of the IE Venture Lab. Before academia, he spent more than 20 years in investment banking and venture capital, mainly at UBS and ABN AMRO. He teaches over 200 sessions a year across IE's MBA, EMBA, and Executive Education programs, and through the Venture Lab supports more than 200 startup projects competing at Venture Days around the world.

Ubie is a Tokyo-based healthcare AI company building vertical AI for medicine and advancing the responsible, real-world use of trustworthy AI. Its consumer-facing AI health partner reaches about 13 million users each month, and its AI tools that streamline clinical and administrative work are used at more than 160 major hospitals across Japan.
