Would you use Gen AI to create a shopping list, a holiday plan, and a final presentation? Probably. Would you use Gen AI to learn how to ride a bike? Probably not. Some skills can only be learnt by actually learning and doing them.
There are two things that Gen AI cannot do: think critically and build interpersonal relationships. Being able to construct your argument, defend it, and use your communication skills to persuade others is critical to you as a human being and (later) a working professional. In this session, Vice Dean Alistair Fildes will share his introduction to the world of critical thinking and influencing in the Gen AI world.

Vice Dean for Behavioral Science and Behavior Change
Dr Alistair Fildes is the Vice Dean for Behavioral Science and Behavior Change at IE University. He leads the Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences within IE Business School. Trained as a sociologist and having worked as both a management consultant and criminologist, his career goal has been to apply scientific method and experimentation to positively change human behavior.
