Masterclass in Bogotá – The Art and Science of Changing Minds Through Storytelling

Join us for this insightful in-person Masterclass with IE University Professor Samantha Hernandez, where neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and communication techniques come together to explore how storytelling can help you communicate with impact, influence others, and inspire action. 

Data informs, but stories change behavior. The human brain is wired to remember narratives more effectively than isolated facts and figures, while emotions play a key role in how we pay attention, learn, and make decisions. 

This session will explore how to build messages that create impact, inspire action, and facilitate difficult conversations. You will discover how to structure stories that connect with different audiences, strengthen influence, and drive change, whether in presentations, leadership, negotiation, or cultural transformation.

About the Speaker 

Samantha Hernandez is an Adjunct Professor of Applied Neuroscience and Executive Leadership at IE University and the Founder & Director of Brainologie Inc., where she translates cognitive neuroscience into practical business tools. 

She has designed and delivered leadership and organizational transformation programs for organizations including The Walt Disney Company, Formula 1, McLaren, Nestlé, and Activision Blizzard King, among others. She is also a TEDx Speaker and a recipient of IE University's Teaching Excellence Award Laurel for four consecutive years.
