This presentation aims to analyze the phenomenon of disinformation and the threat it poses focusing on the ‘Action Plan against Disinformation’ released by the European Commission on December 5, 2018. Dr. Antonios Kouroutakis is Assistant Professor at IE University in Madrid, and he has taught a variety of law courses and conducted research at many univesitys arround the world. Dr. Kouroutakis is interested in the concept of separation of powers, rule of law, emergency legislation, and the regulation of newtechnologies; he has published widely on these topics in international and peer reviewed journals.
