FinTech: A Road Map for the Future of Finance - Montreal

Join IE’s Master in Finance team along with IE Finance professor Steven Zitzer for after work drinks and a conversation about Fintech and looking ahead at the future of finance.

FinTech is all about “creative destruction”. It´s about how technology and new ways of connecting are upending finance, and both destroying some traditional finance roles and creating new ones in your post-Master career. In this conversation, Prof. Zitzer will illustrate what´s happening by looking at some stories/mini case studies across the diverse FinTech landscape and use an interactive dialogue to get a feel for what the future holds.

1) The Five Forces of Alibaba

2) WealthTech, Gretzky and the Race to Zero
