Jam Session - Impact Investing: The good, the bad and the ugly

The role of finance in our world is critical. Money is to our economic system what blood is to our biological life. We need healthy finances if we are going to keep our system healthy. Awareness about the environmental and social impact of investment decisions has increased among consumers and investors, who now factor social and environmental considerations into their daily decision-making.  Consequently, the financial industry is shifting to cater to these investors via ESG-related investment and they are developing innovative financial products to boost the social impact of money, such as microcredits.

After the first few years of implementing these approaches, what have we learned? What is their real impact? Join us in this open and sincere conversation about what is working and what is not working in Impact Finance.
