Sandwich or Toast? The Importance of Cash Flows When Starting a Company

‘It does not matter how many resources you have, if you do not know how to use them, it will never be enough’.

Professor Lucia Egea will lead us in a discussion about the importance of cash flows in starting a new venture. Through a very practical workshop, she will develop the sandwich or toast theory and provide some clues to better understand the impact over cash flows when managing the company’s receivables, payables, and inventories. Even though cash flow statement provides key information to assess what is really happening with our startup, most entrepreneurs focus only on the income statement.

Professor Egea will share with the audience her experience in helping early-stage entrepreneurs over the past 5 years.
