AI Ethics at the Edge: Philosophy Meets Industry

IE School of Humanities invites you to AI Ethics at the Edge: Philosophy Meets Industry — an evening of dialogue, debate, and networking on the ethics of artificial intelligence. The event concludes our inaugural AI Ethics Week, part of IE University’s celebration of the AAAI/ACM Conference on AI, Ethics, and Society (Oct. 20–22 at IE Tower), the world’s leading multidisciplinary forum on AI ethics.

AI Ethics at the Edge brings together philosophers, policy experts, and industry leaders to explore the frontiers of AI ethics and governance. Highlights include a keynote by visiting scholar Andrés Páez, a leading philosopher of AI; a panel with representatives from OpenAI, Lenovo, and UNESCO; the announcement of a new partnership; and opportunities to connect with speakers and guests.

The event is hosted by the School’s UNESCO Chair in AI Ethics & Governance. Free and open to the public with prior registration.
