What is Strategy? How do you define it?

In this interactive session, we will explore the concept of strategy and how to establish the values and mission of a company or startup. We will also cover how to build a strategy and brand around a unique value proposition. 

During this session, we will:
- Examine the process of charting the direction of a company and apply analytical tools to determine strategic approaches for successfully competing in international markets.
- ⁠Develop market and competitive analyses to define strategic alternatives.
- ⁠Synthesize strategic approaches to compete in international markets within a simulated market environment.
- ⁠Identify the key requirements for successful strategy execution.

Lecturer: 

Dr. Wael Kechli is a Business Strategy and entrepreneurship Professor at leading institutions in Canada and serves as the CEO of Techy Canada Advanced Corporation. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool and a Master’s in Management from IE Business School. Dr. Kechli’s research interests are centered on strategic management, business models that enable non-financial performance, family business succession planning, and the application of artificial intelligence in higher education.

Dr. Wael Kechli is also a co-founder of Alumni Central, a global hub for alumni from the top 29 business schools. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Centre for Skills Development in Burlington and is actively involved in Canada's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Dr. Kechli mentors entrepreneurs in Toronto through initiatives such as BITS, Achieve, and Acces, helping to foster innovation and support
