Navigating Private Markets in Times of Uncertainty

Join us for an exclusive masterclass with Prof. Paolo Giancane, CFA, as we explore the shifting dynamics of the $2 trillion private equity and venture capital market amidst global uncertainty.

With economic and geopolitical developments unfolding daily, the private markets are under scrutiny. While sectors like IT and Healthcare are projected to show resilience due to their limited reliance on imports, others may face uneven impacts. The Financial Services sector, in particular, is expected to experience partial headwinds in light of current macroeconomic conditions.

Private company valuations typically adjust more slowly than public markets, meaning we may see fewer IPOs and more constrained access to high-yield financing in the short term. This session will examine how these trends may affect asset allocations and investor strategies going forward.

Key Takeaways:

  • How macroeconomic uncertainty is reshaping private markets

  • Sector-specific impacts and resilience patterns

  • Implications for private company valuations, exits, and fundraising

  • Strategic insights for investors navigating today's complex environment
