Private Equity and Alternatives: Not out of the woods, not just yet

Hello from IE Business School,

As the overall Alternatives industry, and more specifically, its leading actor, Private Equity, continues to challenge to return capital to its Limited Partners (institutional investors), many pundits continue to cry about the industry's demise. Indeed, metrics like DPI (Distributions to Paid-in Capital) become now more important than IRR but, furthermore, there are signs that the industry is beginning to recover in terms of deal-making, fundraising and even exits.

We will discuss the industry's state and how it responds to these challenges in our upcoming webinar on October 1st.

These are some of the points that Rafael Gonzalo, the Academic Director of the Private Equity and Advanced Private Equity programs, will cover:

  • Struggles in the Private Equity Industry
  • Shift in Important Metrics
  •            Signs of Recovery
  • Industry Trends
