Join us for a panel discussion led by IE MBA Alumni from different programs, industries and backgrounds. We´ll hear more about their specific experiences and most importantly the role of their MBA program in shaping their professional and personal development. Our panelists will talk about their journey before and after the MBA. The panel aims to uncover opportunities after an MBA.

After the panel discussion, attendees will have an exclusive networking opportunity with our speakers.

PANELISTS

Brian Dapelo, Managing Director - Monarch Point Consulting, IE International MBA 2009

He began his career as a Financial Advisor at AIG  before eventually transitioning to Trading and Portfolio Management at a LATAM boutique private bank. Soon after, Mr. Dapelo followed eventually started his own investment advisory firm at the age of 27. Mr. Dapelo was later recruited to join at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a Management Consultant in New York City, where he specialized in strategy and operations consulting for major multinational corporations. Seeing a gap in the market to offer similar management consulting services to small to medium sized businesses, Mr. Dapelo again founded his own firm, Monarch Point Consulting Group, where he currently dedicates most of his time. Outside of management consulting and financial services, Mr. Dapelo has also served as Palm Beach Tech’s Director of Development & Operations, and as a Professor of Business & Entrepreneurship at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Mr. Dapelo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California and his International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. 

Isle Simon, Brand Director - Zumba, IE Global MBA 2017

Specializes in driving business growth by analyzing consumer data, developing profitable marketing strategies and conceptualizing innovative ideas. Has worked on digital marketing programs for top telecommunication companies nationwide, including Sprint, Xfinity, AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner Cable, Charter Spectrum, Centurylink, Cox Communications and others. Ilse was part of a startup in the Fintech industry.

Catalina Potes, Shipboard Innovation Manger - Carnival Cruise Line, IE International MBA 2017

Cata Potes is the Manager of Shipboard Innovation at Carnival Cruise Line, where she was recently promoted after one year at the company. Her background is in Marketing and Strategy and prior to doing the MBA, she was working specifically with different luxury products and brands focusing on travel retail throughout the Americas. Cata holds a Bachelor´s Degree in International Business and Management from Florida International University and an MBA from IE Business School. She is passionate about travel, fashion and art.

Cammy Smith,  Founder, Revive Consulting, IE International MBA 2015

Cammy Smith is the owner of Revive Consulting+. For the past 13 years, Cammy has been working in and alongside financial advisory firms. With her father as the founder and CEO of a successful wealth management firm, Cammy was exposed to the industry at a young age. Through this and as a Financial Advisor for nearly a decade, she lived and experienced the needs of financial advisors looking to differentiate, grow, and always do right by their clients. With the belief that better is possible, in 2016 Cammy founded Revive Consulting+ to help advisors and wealth management firms realize their full potential.

She holds an International MBA from IE Business School in addition to earning a B.A. from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business. Cammy continues to be active with the IE community, as the President of the Miami chapter of the IE Global Alumni Club.  She is inspired to propel positive global impact – one engagement at a time.
