IE Law School invites you to our workshop on Int. Business Law with Professor Sara Sánchez & Alberto Frasquet, Herbert Smith Freehills
Our changing context means that complex, multijurisdictional transactions are now the norm for large multinationals. To manage client needs and expectations, commercial lawyers need a theoretical, commercial and practical understanding of cross-border transactions. These challenges are at the heart of this specialization, providing rigorous academic and hands-on training in the broad spectrum of required skills.
In this session, we begin by offering an overview of the program and a taste of the experience. We will then dive into the specifics of the International Business Law specialization, providing context, exploring professional opportunities and discovering real-world cases. Finally, we will round off the dynamic experience with an open Q&A session.

Alberto completed his law degree at the University of Granada and obtained his LL.M., with honors, from IE Law School.
He is partner and head of the Corporate / M&A / Private Equity practices at Herbert Smith and contributes to the academic world as a lecturer at Instituto de Empresa and speaker at IFAES or FIDE. He is regularly ranked in many leading legal directories, such as Chambers and Pertners, Legal 500, or Best Lawyers.
Assistant Professor, IE Law School
Professor Sánchez has been teaching and researching at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and Universidad Autónoma of Madrid from 2008 to 2013. From 2014 and until 2016, she has been in practice as a lawyer at the law firm Uría Menéndez, specialised in IPOs. Together with this, she worked as corporate governance and company law counsel to Spanish listed companies.
