The law and the "Sharing Economy": Regulating Online Market Platforms

IE travels to Istanbul with top IE faculty to talk about the new sharing economy and how it created a significant change in the way we perceive economy. We are proud of our immersive teaching methodology and would like to welcome you to experience an expert-led master class taught by our top faculty!

The law and the "Sharing Economy": Regulating Online Market Platforms

In this masterclass, Dr. Antonios Kouroutakis will speak about the significant change that Uber, AirBnB and other online platforms have brought in the economic paradigm at a global scale.

Such platforms connected peers all over the world and bypassed state regulations, forming what we call the “sharing economy.”

Furthermore, these platforms brought significant disruption within a number of industries. The topic of this presentation is focused on the challenges that sharing economy poses to regulators around the world with the aim of highlighting best practices.

The master class will be followed by a networking cocktail where you will be able to continue discussions with our professor and meet IE alumni.

Come and join us!
