Our speakers

Master in International Development

Cristina Escallón is from Colombia where she studied business administration. After working in corporate sustainability, she is doing the Master in International Development, which has broadened her perspective as to how development may be reached from a myriad of sectors and scopes. She hopes to continue her future endeavors in the lines of work of gender equality and social inclusion.

Master in International Relations

Born and raised in Sevilla, south of Spain, José María Rivero always had a passion for people and travelling. That led him to study medicine in Spain and Italy. He is currently a Master in International Relations student at IE, eager to make an impact in the international sphere with his two different yet complementary backgrounds.

Master in International Development

Bryce Johnston is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and a Fulbright Scholar in the Master of International Development program at IE. In his Master's thesis, Bryce plans to explore Spain's efforts to counter disinformation during the covid pandemic. Outside the classroom, you can find Bryce sipping coffee on one of Madrid's many terraces or in the park trying learning the basics of lacrosse from the city's club team--health guidelines permitting of course!

Dual Degree International MBA & International Relations

Teri Fioramonti is an International MBA and Master in International Relations dual degree student. She is the IE Student Leadership President, previous Net Impact Co-President, and IMBA Women for Women Mentor. Teri studied Economics and Chemistry before beginning a career in project financial management at a leading a research institute based in North Carolina. Teri has lived in 6 different countries across Asia and Europe.
