UN Women and IE School of Global & Public Affairs are hosting a virtual conference where our esteemed panel members will discuss entrepreneurship, participation in the workforce and economic empowerment in Latin America. The conference will take place under the “Win-Win: Gender Equality means Good Business” framework, which is a UN Women and International Labour Organization collaborative program, financed by the European Union. The event will take place virtually through a Zoom Webinar.

Our speakers

Dean at IE School of Global and Public Affairs

Susana Malcorra is Dean at IE School of Global and Public Affairs and was previously Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Argentina. Becoming in 2012 Chief of Staff for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon gave her invaluable experience for both humanitarian aid and peacekeeping operations. She has handled complex negotiations as a diplomat in various countries. She coordinated the mission to eliminate Syrian chemical weapons and the first ever Ebola emergency response in West Africa.
