During this 90-minute session, you will have a sneak peek into a real class at IE University. The class will explore the transformative effects of digitization on various facets of the global economy, along with the resulting opportunities and threats from an applied multidisciplinary perspective. The advent of digitization, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, machine learning, big data, and the Internet of Things has caused a systemic change in the way we communicate, transact, and process information, reshaping the structure of the global economy. Against the backdrop of elections in many countries, conflicts, wars, new treaties, and economic turmoil, combined with social media and the unstoppable pace of technological advancement, this subject matter is more relevant than ever.
