Careers Talk for Parents

Join the IE Brazil team in an exclusive event for parents and guardians of IE University current students, with a focus on careers. This information session will provide parents and guardians with perspectives and tools for supporting their children with regards to their career plans.

The speaker is Norton Lara, father of a recently graduated student at IE, with a career in various companies such as IBM and Spencer Stuart, and who is now a partner at Vila Nova Partners, a company dedicated to talent search for leadership positions. Norton visited the IE Campuses in Segovia and Madrid, engaged with IE´s Talent & Careers department, and met with Brazilian students during a career workshop he conducted on campus.

Norton will be able to share with the audience his perspectives from the visit to IE University, along with some guidelines on how parents and guardians can best deal with the career of their children, based on the Parent’s Guide to the Career Playbook, written by James M. Citrin, Leader of the Global CEO Practice at Spencer Stuart.
