ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Born in Bilbao but with nomad spirit, Ritxi Ostáriz is an independent designer with focus on branding and editorial. With his own studio since 2006 he has directed and developed design projects as books and magazines, as well as more than a hundred music artworks for albums and artists from all over the world. He loves teaching. Since 2018 he has been teaching Branding, Typography and Editorial at IE School of Architecture and Design at IE University (IE), in Madrid and Segovia; and Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) in Santiago de Chile.
Passionate about mountains, rural life, and traditional societies, Ritxi has directed and conducted El Libro Rojo for nine years, his own radio podcast with more than 235 episodes on Anthropology and Philosophy, that can be listened to on Spotify. In 2023 he wrote, designed and published a book entitled Volcanes y Araucarias.
