IEU Class at a Glance - “Changing minds: Mental Framing"

Do you want to experience what a class at IE University look like?
Join IE University´s IEU Class at a Glance - “Changing minds: Mental Framing" virtual session and discover it!

Rafif Srour Daher, IE University Vice Dean of the School of Science and Technology Undergraduate Programs, will show you how frames are mental models that help us understand the world around us.

When solving a mathematical problem, sometimes one gets stuck in his/her own frame that it becomes impossible to find a solution in an efficient and timely manner. At these times, it might be beneficial to step back and take a wider look at the problem and try different mental frameworks.
In this class, we will discuss metal frameworks and their impact on changing the way our minds operate. We will use the mutilated chessboard problem to demonstrate the power of logic in shaping our mental thinking.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity!
