Merel Werners is a true global citizen, born in The Netherlands, shaped by years spent in Suriname, Belgium, the UK and Spain. Her mind is rooted in Northern European precision, and her heart beats with South American warmth. Positivity, passion, and strong interpersonal skills define her 30 years of professional experience, contributing to Sports, Fashion, and Lifestyle brands on EMEA HQ Level. For 25 of those 30 years, she has been an integral part of the EMEA Leadership teams at KSwiss, Calvin Klein, and Havaianas. As a true Commercial Marketeer, she offers a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on experience. 

In February 2024 she founded ME-WE STUDIO, a marketing and branding consultancy.

Since October 2024 Merel is an adjunct professor at IE teaching Customer Experience in the Masters Luxury, Fashion and Consumer Goods
