Step into Lalaland: A Legal Leadership Challenge

In this challenge, you will immerse yourself in the fictional world of Lalaland, a country at a crossroads.

With the rise of technology and the rapid spread of disinformation, democracy around the world is at risk. This is your chance to explore how the law can be applied to tackle one of the world’s most pressing problems.

Your mission? Develop innovative solutions to restore order and justice. Lalaland needs exceptional leaders to guide them out of this turmoil. Do you have what it takes?

When?

• February 22nd, 2025 On-demand/asynchronous – All participants receive the materials needed to compete.
• March 5th, 2025 Assignment submission deadline.
• March 8th, 2025 Final live virtual session at 15:00 (Madrid Time) – Closing ceremony and winner announcement.

Who Can Participate?

High school students starting university in September 2025 or September 2026.

Participants will compete individually.

Format

Online (On-demand/asynchronous and live session).

Winner Award

The winner of the LALALAND Challenge will receive a 30% award to pursue any undergraduate degree at IE University.

Note: The award is only applicable after successfully completing the IE University admission process and securing an offer to start in September 2025 or 2026.
