About the Guest Speaker
Dr. Concepción Galdón is Vice-Dean for Business with Purpose at IE Business School. She holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a Master in Public Administration and International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a PhD in International Economy and Development from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she received an Outstanding Award for her doctoral dissertation. Her research focuses on how technology and innovation can drive impact in social entrepreneurship.

Dr. Galdón has worked with NGOs, the UN Procurement Division, Santander Bank’s Latin America Division, and the Government of Liberia under President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, recipient of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize.
