Are you career ready? Unlocking Secrets for an Unfair Career Advantage (Second Session)

Careers don't just happen. Success comes from intentionally practicing 10 career behaviors that anyone can master. In our interactive two-session series, we get every participant to reflect on simple, yet hard, truths about their own careers. We will examine these and other questions together through a series of reflections, exercises, and discussions.

In this second session, Dr. Sergey Gorbatov will continue to guide participants through the Career Edge model and dive deeper into its remaining two cornerstones: Brand Builder and Opportunity Seeker. You will be faced with tough questions:

  • what do others say about you when you leave the room?
  • are you a positive networker?
  • are you multiplying your options?
  • how are you getting yourself into a winning context?
  • where are you on the transition curve?

We will examine these and other questions together through a series of reflections, exercises, and discussions.

The session offers multiple exercises that lead to insights on becoming ‘career ready’. To prepare for the second session, each participant will complete a diagnostic that indicates how much effort they put into their own career management by following this link. You will receive your results confidentially immediately upon completion. Save or print those and bring them to the session.
