With the threat landscape becoming more sophisticated and diverse, and the IT environments ever more complicated and distributed, the task of maintaining a reasonable level of security is a daunting task.

This Masterclass will explore and introduce the trends, challenges, strategies and approaches for building and managing an efficient and capable Cyber-Security Operations function.

With over 20 years of information security experience, Alfredo has held senior positions in the past at companies like Accenture Security as Senior Manager, Roche Pharmaceuticals as Security Engineering Manager, Symantec as Senior Consultant, Verizon as Solutions Architect, and as independent consultant in countries like Germany, Spain and the UK. Currently as Solutions Principal at Secureworks, Alfredo draws on decades of security experience, with a strong emphasis in the areas of managed service security (MSS), threat intelligence, cloud security, incident response, evidence-based decision making and strategy, and applications of data science to cyber security. Alfredo holds the following certifications: CISM, CISSP-ISSMP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CCSK, CEH, GDPR Foundations and AWS Solutions Architect. He holds a Master in Information Systems Management from IE Business School and an Industrial Engineering BEng degree from the University of Cantabria (Spain)
