In this session, Prof. Ramsés Gallego will discuss how the difficult times in which we are living do require a completely new approach, a new beginning. This is an epoch where technology plays an instrumental role. It is fundamental that we embrace the coming months -even years- adapting and adopting a shift in perception and collaborating -not fighting- disciplines such as Machine Learning.
Ramsés will analyze how the time has come to accelerate the digital highways that enable remote working and education, being serviced from afar and connecting with our loved ones.
In this session, you will be able to know and engage in a conversation on what is required in this challenging times: not a digital transformation but a radical innovation; doing different things differently. Besides, you will be able to comprehend the dimensions of Governance, Assurance, Privacy and Disruptive Technology for the greater good. This is what is required. This is what is needed to endure in this post-pandemic era.
With an MBA and Law education, Ramsés is a +22 year security professional with deep expertise in the Risk Management and Governance areas. Ramsés is now Security, Risk & Governance International Director with Micro Focus, where he defines the vision and mission, purpose and promise of the division. He has recently been Strategist & Evangelist for the office of the CTO with Symantec and holds the following professional accreditations: CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, SCPM, CCSK, ITIL and COBIT Foundations. An internationally recognized public speaker, has visited +24 different countries in the past 12 months and has been awarded 'Best Speaker' in the four continents.
Ramsés is also Executive Vice President of the Quantum World Association and has had the US flag flown on his honor at The Capitol, in Washington DC, USA. With already 14 Marathons -and other crazy adventures- on his legs he lives in Barcelona, Spain, with his wonderful wife and his two loved kids.

Niccolò has an international expertise within Higher Education.
Before IE, he was working at Saïd Business School, managing Executive Education Programmes. In Oxford, Niccolò has worked with a wide variety of global firms including prestigious international banking institutions and Middle Eastern corporations. Previously Niccolò has worked at SDA Bocconi of Milan where he managed the MBA and was responsible for a Luxury Business Programme organised with LVMH.
