Making decisions in today’s world has become more complex than ever before. As such, most of us feel uncomfortable with making decisions. It requires a combination of instincts and data. However, the pressures of a hyper-competitive fast-paced world often fails our intuition. We tend to run on auto-pilots. On the other hand, models of decision making rely on the assumptions we build into them. GIGO – garbage in, garbage out – is a serious problem.
