About the Speakers
08014 is an architectural studio dedicated to developing building and public space projects, lead by Adrià Guardiet (Barcelona, 1982) and Sandra Torres (Eivissa, 1985), architects from the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB), where Sandra Torres obtained a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation in 2012 and Adrià Guardiet has been teaching since 2021.
Their architecture seeks a balance between the specific requirements of each project and broader interests, such as the connection between architecture, city and territory, intermediate spaces, flexible structures and bioclimatic design.
08014's work has been awarded, finalist or selected in local and international competitions such as AR Emerging Awards 2023, FAD 2020 and 2023, BEAU XV and XVI, Mapei Sustainable Architecture Award 2023, IX Enor Awards, Hispalyt Architecture Award 2021-23, AJAC Awards XI, Arquia Próxima Biennial V and VI, Europan 12, 13 and 16, among others.
