BIO

Carla is a global professional with five nationalities, having lived in USA, Europe and Latin America. This has given her the ability to lead diverse multi-cultural hybrid teams. She achieved rapid growth in her career, securing 7 different vertical roles in the last 10 years. 

She has 15 years of professional experience in Business development, Marketing Communications, Public Speaking and Learning innovation (L&D). She has been working for the past 10 years in in Education| EdTech, growing in roles throughout the entire customer journey.

In 2020, she became Global Head of Sales, launching a new international team of 30 professionals. In 2021 she became the youngest Vice-Dean at IE Business School. She is responsible for the graduate programs in Marketing, Communications, Sales and Human Resources. 

Carla has been teaching at IE University for the past 6 consecutive years, receiving every year the “Teaching Excellence Award” based on the students´ feedback and evaluation. She Is professor of: 1. Communication Skills, Public Speaking and Storytelling. 2. Well-being In Practice and 3. Learning and Development. Carla has also delivered international master classes and workshops for Senior Executives, young professionals and companies in 25 countries worldwide.
