Join us as IE Professor Christina Stathopoulos explains the fast-paced and ever-growing world of data science. Data generation continues to grow at astonishing rates and it is not slowing down. How we put it to use will shape our future, but what does this data future entail? This talk will explore just that, our data future, as well as how the pandemic has accelerated our move toward a more digital future and thus an increased reliance on data and data professionals. Christina will also share her own experience and career tips for working in tech. We will open the floor to questions at the end, so come prepared and curious to learn about a topic becoming ever more important!

Christina Stathopoulos is a thought leader in the data world, participating regularly as an international speaker and educator in the field. She has developed an advanced analytics career in tech. Most recently, after more than 5 years at Google and Waze where she led analytical studies and strategy in partnership with some of their largest advertisers, she branched off on her own as a data evangelist to launch her own data firm.
