Global Executive Tour - Zurich

Join IE Business School on November 29th for a double-ticket event that features two leading experts who will share many helpful insights, for the aspiring senior executive. There is no fee to attend, and we have budgeted time to help you connect with other ambitious professionals in Zurich too. The two sessions will run back-to-back, followed by an interactive dinner cocktail event where you can interact with IE representatives and the speakers too.

This will be a high-impact event so come straight from the office and remember your business cards, as we will be doing a drawing for some of IE’s latest branded merchandise, produced by sustainable producer Ecoalf.

Session 01: Projecting Executive Presence and Managing Your Personal Brand.

Back by popular demand, and after a full house event this past September, come hear Dr. Amber Wigmore Alvarez’s expert insights on how to project executive presence, and how to balance your face-to-face interactions with effective online personal branding techniques.

Amber is not only an Adjunct Faculty member at IE Business School, but she is also a globally recognized expert in the areas of employability and the future of work.  If you are positioning yourself for upward mobility within your organization, this session will prove highly valuable to you.

Session 02: Positive Leadership in Difficult Times.

Jasmine Keel is both an executive leadership development consultant and a Director a Swiss Re in Zurich, and in her session she will share invaluable insights into her recent research on the topic of Positive Leadership – an area of thought that merges positive psychology and leadership. More specifically, she shares her most important conclusions about what positive leaders do differently to make their people thrive, despite a business environment marked by intense workplace pressure, unrelenting change, and escalating competition at home and abroad. Jasmine’s talk will include many real world examples of leaders who manage to retain high levels of engagement and a positive environment despite external and internal challenges, and will be an interactive and pragmatic workshop with a mix of theory, peer exchange, and application exercises.
