In this Master Class, taught by IE Professor, Brian Hallett, we will explore one of the most mysterious and misunderstood aspects of the entire digital revolution:

Together we will examine specific examples of Brands that have successfully used the power of the internet, social media and "sharing" to spread their messages far and wide. And most importantly, we look at the key success factors which brands employ to get their message out.

What do all viral campaigns have in common and what elements make them unique?

  3. Why do some ideas spread overnight while others simply disappear?

  6. Are they online marketing ad placements techniques than help campaigns take off?
  7. What role does social influence have in shaping the choices we make?
  8. What kinds of content do we simply view, vs the content that we like or share?
  9. What does the future hold for online viral content?
