Legal innovation: How is technology changing the legal sector? - Online Masterclass
Join us in this online Masterclass!
The development of legal technologies (LegalTech) has been fast, powerful, and critically disruptive to a sector that is usually seen as very traditional. The legal sector, and the legal industry in particular, faces significant transformations in view of rapid technological innovation.
This online masterclass introduces the new trends and begins to track the phases of technological change within the sector. It aims at exploring both the driving forces and the challenges of legal innovation, discussing questions such as: What are the current and expected LegalTech innovations? How does LegalTech impact the offering of legal services in the market - both from law firms and in-house? How does it impact judicial (and other) decision-making? How can businesses adapt to the changes, given their traditional and new needs for legal services and for legal advice? The session will also touch upon the challenging intersections of legal technology with intellectual property, competition, data protection, and security.
