As the COVID-19 crisis proceeds, all analysis in health, politics and economics is focused on how broad the spread will be and how long it will last. Economic projections have been dire and developing countries which have not yet really experienced the virus are already being hard it by its fallout. Meanwhile, countries are debating when and how to return to normal.
This webinar will review the present situation and the measures being taken to address the crisis on both the health and economic fronts. It will offer some forecasts for what the COVID-19 crisis will ultimately look like and how it will affect our lives.

Professor of Economics
Gayle Allard, a professor of Economics at IE since 2002, studied at the University of California (PhD in Economics) and Johns Hopkins University (Master in International Affairs), and her research has centered on labor markets. She appears regularly in leading international media as a commentator on today's key economic problems.
