Building the New Economy: Distributive Capitalism
Masterclass by David Harlley
As the global community attempts to address the urgent issues of growing wealth inequality, climate change and sustainability, there is a growing recognition that while our political institutions may be democratic, our economies and market places are far from it. Could a distributed model of ownership helmed by employee ownership models meaningfully address these global risks while ushering in a new dawn for capitalism, and economics, informed not by the few, but the many.
This master class will serve as an introduction to distributive capitalism as a potential evolution of our current neo liberal system, focussing on employee ownership.
