Maximizing the impact of your Virtual Presentations

The masterclass will begin with insights from IE Professor Javier Bernard as he shares tips and tricks on how to master an effective virtual presentation, from engaging your audience to compelling visuals. 

Virtual presentations tend to be less engaging than presentations in 3D. In addition to their phones, their laptop screens, and their tendency to take a mental exit from your presentation, your audience can work at the same time as they seem to be listening to you in the background. If they are away from the office, maybe at home, they have added distractions, such as the task of ensuring that family members stay away from their work area, noises that happen in any non-professional environment, or the quality of their internet connection. In this session, we will learn how to make the most of the few resources we have when addressing an audience online, including the setting, your nonverbal expression, and your use of PowerPoint.
