About the Event
Welcome to the IE University Immersive Entertainment Challenge—a global competition designed to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers and innovators. In this challenge, you’ll collaborate with Cristina Carranza, a digital marketing expert, to craft a cutting-edge strategy for an immersive entertainment experience.
From blending virtual and real worlds to creating unforgettable adventures, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, critical thinking, and ability to solve real-world problems.
When?
- February 15th: Live session with Cristina Carranza, where we’ll share the detailed instructions of the challenge and deliverables.
- February 26th: Submission deadline for the challenge.
- March 7th: Announcement of the winner of the award.
Who Can Participate?
High school students starting university in September 2025 or September 2026.
Participants will compete individually.
Format
Online (On-demand/asynchronous and live session).

About Cristina Carranza
Cristina Carranza is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in Digital Marketing, E-commerce, and AI applications. She spent 10 years at Amazon, developing the European retail and advertising business, followed by 3 years launching Twitch in Spain (a leading streaming platform).
Currently, she serves as Global Head of Sales at GGTECH, a digital entertainment company revolutionizing how audiences perceive and enjoy gaming and immersive entertainment. Cristina splits her time between the USA and Spain, growing the business while also being a proud SIMs #superfan.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, including her three young children.
