The Math Challenge

IE University Math Challenge is a global competition where students will prove their analytical and critical thinking skills and have the chance to win an exclusive award to study at IE University.

The challenge will be divided into several phases.

• WHEN? From November 23rd till December 19th, 2026

23rd of November 2026 - Part 1- on demand/asynchronous - All participants receive the material to be able to compete. 

 --> November 27th 2026 - Submission Deadline Math Problem Part 1.

1st of December 2026 - Part 2- on demand/asychronous - Announcement to the participants that have successfully pass to Part 2, including the material of the Part 2 Math Problem. 

--> December 4th, 2026 - Submission Deadline Math Problem Part 2

--> December 11th, 2026  - Announcement to the participants that have been selected to participate in the Final part of the challenge. 

December 19th, 2026 - Final - online live virtual session via Zoom 

• WHO? High School students starting university in September 2027 or September 2028. Applicants participate individually
